One of the complex environmental concerns surrounding these works was the disturbance of the bat colony located less than a few hundred metres away from the construction site. To minimize the disturbance, SEDL’s worked closely with the local environmental offices ensure the colony was protected from any excessive exposure by machines working on and around the site. As a result of this project our relationship with Lockyer Valley Reginal Council has presented us with opportunities on upcoming projects.
